Super Albino Llama: Llamas are awesome! (159)
My Bio
I am Steve Drace Brown of dRaCeFaCe Imagery and I am a Professional Visual Artist from the state of Oklahoma. I have been creating art for 16 years, five years creating my own animation characters, anime, and comic book characters, five years drawing portraits and animals. And my last six working with live models. I try my best not to stand still in art, but to progress and become as great of an artist as "I" can be.

Creating art started for me at a very young age. My father was an artist so it has always been in my blood, but it wasn't until The Lion King came out when I decided to actually pick up a pencil and try to teach myself to draw. From then on I've taught myself how to draw what ever interested me throughout my life at that point in time figuring out Creatively how all these amazing artists were capable of creating such images studying and learning from amazing cartoon artist, to learning the intricate details and styles of the Renaissance masters.

I have been trained and capable of using many styles, techniques, and mediums, but focus now on a style I've created called "Scribescrawl" which is basically small intricate scribbles formed using various types of ink pens to form an image from afar. Using this scribble method makes the images I create look very life like and stylistic. I'm still learning more and trying new ideas with this technique, so in the future my pieces would look magnificent.

My inspiration for creating my newer pieces is from the human emotions. I am attracted to simple eye looks and body language. You can tell a whole life story by the way a person look at you and I love to try to capture that with the best of my ability because I think all people my share the same kinds of emotions and feelings, but each is very different based on the persons life based towards how they look and hold themselves. Doing this makes every art piece different telling their own story using all kinds of emotions.

I exhibit my pieces into any gallery or location that wants it displayed as long as I know who has it, its location, and who has it. My idea for art is to share with all. I work with Models, Photographers, Makeup Artists, and Hairstylists in creating my art and they all share a certain flare that makes my pieces pleasing to a variety of people around the world of all types. I wouldn't want to limit my pieces towards one central location. I want my inspiration to inspire others, as the world's inspiration inspires me.

I would love to work with many more creative minds in the future around the world and open galleries not just for myself, but all amazing artists. I love using models for my pieces and using the creative efforts of a whole full team in creating a beautiful work of art, it would be a wonderful thing to tour and keep touring syncing everyone’s ideas and views together to see what we all could create. And most importantly, keep art going and flourishing. Art is VERY important in everyone’s life we all have to work hard to keep it alive in these hard times.

The ideas of what is art or what is great art has been in the air for centuries. One person might see an image and paint something abstract, while another creates a detailed life like picture. Who isn't to say both are not incredible artist. The world at times try to influence people on what they think is correct art and what isn't acceptable, when you as an artist start feeding into that ideology it starts to add separation and then competition towards something that is to many "a freedom of self expression". I draw purely for myself because it makes me happy and sets me mentally free. Even if my images didn't look like anything, I still would be drawing because I truthfully "LOVE" art. When you love art you will do the best you can to encourage others and share what you love to do. I am inspired by "EVERYONES" art. It moves me to work harder and not stay still. I learn form others, as I hope they learn from me. There is no better artist, its just art. But if you love it, and it moves you, do it to the best of your ability...
